Soap Making

Self care starts with our skin! Our skin is our biggest organ. It protects us from outside toxins, yet the products made for cleaning our skin can be very harsh, and even harmful to our bodies. Soap making can be an easy way to reduce your exposure to toxins, express your creativity and give that beautiful dose of self care we all need. Learn how to make cold press soap. Soaps can last a few weeks but learning is forever.

Getting into the Weeds of Gardening

Weeds are plants we deem undesirable for our garden and we remove. However, many weeds can be beneficial to our garden. In fact, they can improve the soil, attract pollinators that are needed for flower and fruit production and they can deter unwanted insects as well as attract beneficial insects that will eat the pests in your garden space. Learn sources to help you better identify the plants and weeds in the garden, how pairing plants through companion planting will improve your garden space and better identify the benefits of what already exists.
